Hong Jing Luo
Also known as Red Golden Snail, this is a rich and sweet red tea characterized by its golden leaves and buds, which are rolled into small coils, shaped like tiny, delicate snails. Hong Jin Luo yields a rich aroma and flavour with a sweet aftertaste. The balanced astringency of this tea makes it a nice choice for pairing with a breakfast meal or chocolate.
Use 10-15% tea amount to teapot ratio. You can make 4 infusions at a water temperature of 100°C with the following recommended brewing times: 1st brew: 1 min.; 2nd brew: 50sec. and 3rd brew: 1.5 min.
